Maize Quality and Logistics' (MQL) services rest on two pillars:
  1. To ensure efficient maize quality control
  2. To provide grain logistics management

Maize quality control entails GMO testing, mycotoxin testing, grading and arbitration services.

Logistics management on the other hand involves the coordination between grain producers, grain storage providers, grain consumers and ultimately grain transporters to ensure adequate and consistent grain stock levels for clients.

MQL opened their doors in May 2000. The founding partners identified a need in the Agricultural Industry for the management of grain logistics as well as maize quality control management. The partners knew they had a competitive advantage since they already had the knowledge and experience in providing these services.

We are currently the only entity that provides both logistic and quality testing services in the agricultural industry. Therefore, our clients can rest assured that the quality of their grain (both grade and non-GMO's) is managed properly throughout the entire system and that traceability is always possible.

MQL ensures that all its employees are adequately qualified in the tasks they perform through in-house training. MQL realises that it cannot certify all skills acquired and therefore sends its employees on the required courses.

MQL's clients include, but are not limited to: Traders, Millers, Cooperatives and Producers.

MQL has a BBBEE Certificate Level 4.
